Bruce A. Orris is Senior Vice President/Chief Information Officer of First Northern Bank. Bruce began his career at First Northern Bank in 1983 and was responsible for the first installations of personal computers at the employee workstations. Bruce worked his way up the corporate ladder while essentially performing every job in the Data Processing and Information Technology side of the Bank, including leading the Bank through a successful transition into the Year 2000. Bruce’s long list of experience includes network infrastructures, system security, Internet and Intranet management and Information Services Department management.

Bruce is responsible for the Bank’s technology strategies, the expansion of its electronic delivery channels and its internal technology infrastructures to ensure the highest possible level of customer service. He has oversight of the Bank’s Information Services Department and chairs the Bank’s Information Services Steering Committee.

Bruce has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa and recently completed the California Bankers Association Leadership Program for banking executives.
