Officer.Chris Ann Bachtel serves as Vice President and Manager
for First Northern Bank’s Asset Management and Trust Department,
located in downtown Sacramento. She oversees compliance
administration, operations, and personal trust and investment
management account relationships.
Prior to joining First Northern Bank, Chris Ann served as
Private Client Manager and Sr. Trust Officer for Wells Fargo
Bank. From 1992 to 1999, Chris Ann was Vice President for Bank
of the West, serving as an administrator and trust business
development officer. In 1988 she was Trust and Investment
Services Officer for Santa Barbara Bank and Trust and was
responsible for business development for private asset
management and charitable trust accounts. She began her trust
career at Wells Fargo Bank, Santa Barbara in 1983. |
She is a member of the Sacramento Rotary and Treasurer of its
Foundation, a former Director of the El Dorado Community
Foundation and Chair of its Planned Giving Advisory Committee,
Director of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council, member of
the Sacramento County Bar Association — Tax and Probate
Sections, and a member of the Editorial Review Board for Merrill
Anderson Co., a provider of technical bulletins and newsletters
for estate planners. She serves on the Board of Directors for
BloodSource and is a member of the Planned Giving Committee for
the Crocker Art Museum.
Chris Ann earned her Bachelors degree from Wake Forest
University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In addition, she
received the professional designation of Certified Financial
Planner (CFP) in 1991, and in 1997 she became a Certified Trust
and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and an Accredited Asset Management
Specialist (AAMS). She holds series 7, 63 and 65 securities
licenses through the NASD.

Alysia Corell serves as Assistant
Vice President/Trust Officer for First Northern Bank's Asset
Management & Trust Department. She is responsible for the
day-to-day administration of a wide range of trust accounts,
including revocable and irrevocable living trusts, charitable
remainder trusts, business trusts, special needs trusts,
probates, conservatorships and escrow accounts.
Alysia previously served as the Department's Trust Operations
Officer where she was responsible for supervising day-to-day
trust accounting, securities settlement, and all transactions
involved with the Department's trust and investment accounts.
Prior to joining the Asset Management and Trust Department,
Alysia was employed in the administrative offices of First
Northern Bank, specializing in marketing and competitive
financial analysis. She has 10 years of experience in the
financial services industry.
Alysia earned her bachelor's degree in Communication from San
Diego State University. Her professional education began at
Cannon Financial Institute at Pepperdine University where she
successfully completed rigorous coursework in personal trust
administration and in 2008 completed the Institute's Trust
School and earned the credential of Certified Trust and
Financial Advisor (CTFA). Alysia is a member of the Sacramento
Estate Planning Council, where she serves on the Board of
Directors.
