Tell us about the passion of Yolo County Housing.

We provide housing and community development services to the four cities in Yolo, as well as the unincorporated areas of the County. We’re out there in the trenches every day, working with families – many who have recently come out of homelessness.

What drove you to connect with First Northern Bank?

First Northern Bank operates in our backyard. They offer a variety of flexible products that serve us and make our business model possible. When working with a local bank like First Northern, we don’t spend a lot of time going through the layers of management, but rather the staff has helped us to move projects along.

What about your business makes a local bank especially important?

We have a number of rural sites where travelling to a bank branch can be inconvenient. First Northern Bank has worked with us on deploying several Treasury Management solutions to maximize efficiency. Deposit Capture allows our staff the convenience to transact and deposit from wherever they are. Direct Deposit for our landlords, integration with their Online Banking portal with our accounting software and Positive Pay fraud prevention solution have greatly reduced our costs internally.

With First Northern, we can focus on the things we do best, which is deliver service directly to customers.

If your bank is changing, merging or just not delivering, give us a call.

Why Bank with First Northern Bank?

We've stood the test of time - First Northern has operated safely with the same ownership throughout two World Wars, two depressions and 19 recessions. Today we're STRONGER than ever!
