President, Aldrete Communications

Lori J. Aldrete is the owner of Aldrete Communications, a regional public affairs, marketing, and communications firm headquartered in Davis, California. Ms. Aldrete is also the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of Aldrete Enterprises. Ms. Aldrete has held senior executive management positions for large healthcare organizations in Sacramento and San Francisco and worked in the business and communications fields for more than 35 years. She received her undergraduate degree in Communications from Michigan State University and her Master of Business Administration from California State University Sacramento. Ms. Aldrete helped found and operate more than five successful small business ventures since 1977. During the past 20 years, Ms. Aldrete has worked with or served on numerous boards, including her current roles as board members of First Northern Bank, First Northern Community Bancorp and the United Way California Capitol Region. Ms. Aldrete's service on boards both in the private and public sectors and her ownership of small businesses and management positions of large organizations has provided her with extensive knowledge and experience in strategic planning, corporate governance, marketing, and management. Ms. Aldrete is the Chairman of the Bank's Compensation Committee and a member of the Bank's Information Services Steering, Loan, and Nominating & Corporate Governance Committees.

Foy S. McNaughton

President & CEO, McNaughton Newspapers

Foy S. McNaughton is President & CEO of McNaughton Newspapers--Davis Enterprise, Daily Republic (Fairfield), Mountain Democrat (Placerville), Winters Express, Georgetown Gazette, and Life Newspapers (El Dorado Hills, Folsom, and Cameron Park), a position he has held since 1985. He has served as Publisher of the Daily Republic since 1995. Mr. McNaughton has been a resident of Davis since 1973. Mr. McNaughton is Chairman of the Bank's Audit Committee and a member of the Bank’s Compensation, Nominating & Corporate Governance, Loan and Information Services Steering Committees.

Louise A. Walker

President & CEO

First Northern Bank & First Northern Community Bancorp

Louise A. Walker has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of First Northern Community Bancorp and its subsidiary, First Northern Bank, since January 1, 2011. She joined First Northern Bank in 1979, and has been a member of the Senior Management Team since 1989. Louise is a member of the following Committees: Asset/Liability, Asset Management & Trust, Asset Quality, Loan, Information Services Steering,  and Profit Sharing.

During her career, Louise has held a variety of positions, which included managing Operations and Data Processing, as well as overseeing Human Resources, Risk Management, Compliance, Accounting, and Finance. Prior to becoming CEO, Louise held the position of Senior Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for 14 years.

Louise is Chair and a member of the California Bankers Association’s Board of Directors; Treasurer of the Solano Economic Development Corporation; and is on the Board of Valley Vision. She is on the Board of the Yolo Food Bank, a member of Dixon Rotary, and Past President of Soroptimist International of Dixon. Louise is a member of Lambda Alpha International, Sacramento Chapter. She also served on the Board of the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization. Her extensive service as a board member of both private and public organizations has provided Louise with extensive knowledge of banking, financial management, risk management, corporate governance, and marketing.

Louise holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Frank J. Andrews, Jr. is President of Andrews, Lando & Associates, a real estate development firm established in 1990, and Manager of Gainsbourgh–Classics LLC since January 1999, also a real estate development firm. Prior to that time, Mr. Andrews was President of Andrews Management Services for three years and Vice President of Amos & Andrews, Inc., for 15 years. Andrews Management Services and Amos & Andrews, Inc. are also real estate development companies. Mr. Andrews is a member of the Bank’s Asset Quality and Loan Committees.

Patrick R. Brady

CEO, Sutter Medical Center

Patrick (Pat) R. Brady is Chief Executive Officer of Sutter Roseville Medical Center, a position he has held since 1999. He has been involved with Sutter since 1981. Before joining Sutter, Mr. Brady served as Chief Executive Officer of Sutter Solano Medical Center, and in a variety of executive-level positions with Sutter Health in the Greater Sacramento Area, and in hospital management in Los Angeles and Tucson, Arizona. Mr. Brady is a member of the Bank's Asset Management & Trust and Compensation Committees.

John M. Carbahal is a Certified Public Accountant and since 1984 has been a principal and shareholder of Carbahal & Company, Inc., an Accountancy Corporation. Mr. Carbahal is Chairman of the Bank’s Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee and a member of the Bank’s Audit, Loan, and Compensation Committees.

Gregory DuPratt is Vice President of Ron DuPratt Ford, an automobile dealership and family business located in Dixon since 1997. Mr. DuPratt is Chairman of the Bank’s Asset Management & Trust Committee and a member of the Bank's Asset/Liability, Profit Sharing, Compensation, Nominating & Corporate Governance, and Loan Committees.

Barbara A. Hayes

Past President & CEO Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO)

Barbara A. Hayes is Past President & CEO of the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO), where she served for 14 years as President & CEO, and six years as Deputy Director. During her tenure, SACTO successfully located or assisted in the expansion of more than 200 companies in the Sacramento Region, resulting in the creation of more than 45,000 jobs and multiple billions in capital investment for the region's residents and local governments. Her work with departments, agencies, and legislative representatives of the State of California to strategically introduce and amend legislation and regulations to remain competitive in corporate site searches specifically impacted seven corporate locations/expansions, resulting in more than 15,000 new direct jobs and $1.5 billion in capital investment. Prior to joining SACTO, Ms. Hayes held positions with the California Trade and Commerce Agency where she managed programs that provided financial and technical assistance to small businesses across the state. Ms. Hayes joined First Northern Bank's Board of Directors in 2016 and serves on the Bank’s Loan and Audit Committees. She has extensive knowledge and experience with strategic vision and planning, economic development, public policy and legislative relations, marketing, and corporate communications.

Richard M. Martinez

Partner, Triad Farms

Richard (Rick) M. Martinez is currently a partner in Triad Farms, a diversified row crop farm that operates property in Solano and Yolo Counties. He has been responsible for the financial management of the farming operations for the past 26 years. From 1981 to 1985, Mr. Martinez was employed by the Yolo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District in Yolo County and served as Division Manager for the Irrigation and Flood Control operations. Mr. Martinez received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from California State University, Chico. He has served for the past twelve years and continues to be a director for the Dixon Resource Conservation District and also serves as the Chairman for the Dixon Joint Powers Authority for regional drainage. Mr. Martinez remains active in many agricultural and natural resource related associations and advisory committees. His experience in the management of both private and public sectors in the region has provided him with extensive knowledge of the local agriculture community. Mr. Martinez is a member of the Bank’s Loan, Audit, and Compensation Committees.

Owen J. Onsum

Retired Banker, First Northern Bank & First Northern Community Bancorp

Owen J. Onsum served as President & CEO of First Northern Bank from 1997 to 2010. Mr. Onsum started his 39-year career with First Northern Bank in 1972 as a management trainee. He is an active member of the California Bankers Association Board, Dixon Rotary Club, Joyful Ranch Foundation Board, Muriel M. Morris Educational Foundation, Sutter Club, and KVIE Channel 6 Audit Committee. Mr. Onsum is Chairman of the Bank’s Loan Committee and  a member of the Bank's Asset/Liability and Profit Sharing Committees.

David W. Schulze has been the owner/operator of a family farming operation since 1967. Prior to assuming that position, Mr. Schulze was involved in property management and apartment ownership. Mr. Schulze is a member of the Bank's Audit and Loan Committees.

Jeremiah Z. Smith

Sr. EVP / Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer

Jeremiah Z. Smith was named Senior Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer of First Northern Bank in October 2014. He had served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of First Northern since 2010. He joined the Bank in 2003, was named Assistant Controller in 2005, and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, a position he held until 2010.

As Senior Executive Vice President, Jeremiah is responsible for bankwide branch and deposit operations, financial operating results, information security, oversight of the human resources function, and regulatory compliance. Jeremiah chairs the Bank's Asset/Liability Management and Profit Improvement Committees and is a member of the Compliance, Information Services and Ethics Committees. He is also a voting member of Management Loan Committee.

A member of the California Bankers Association's State Government Relations Committee, Jeremiah also serves as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Rotary Club of West Sacramento, and currently is on the Board of Directors of the United Way California Capital Region. He also served as Honorary Commander of Travis Air Force Base from 2014-2015.

Jeremiah received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Sacramento. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of California. In 2008, Jeremiah graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Jeffrey Adamski

EVP / Senior Loan Officer

Jeffrey (Jeff) Adamski, is Executive Vice President/Senior Loan Officer for First Northern Bank. Jeff has been actively involved in the financial services industry since 1981. He has been employed with First Northern since 1993.

In his current position, Jeff is responsible for the oversight of the Bank's small business, commercial and agricultural loan teams. He reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as a member of the Bank's Senior Management Team, Officers Loan Committee and Asset/Liability Committee. Jeff has an extensive credit background coupled with strong business development and relationship management skills. He is very active with the business sector and regularly holds community leadership positions.

Jeff's community involvement includes: founding member and director of Davis Sunrise Rotary; Board member and past Chair of the Davis Chamber of Commerce; founding member of DATA, a Technology Association; past member of the Economic & Finance Committee, City of Davis; Past President of Progress Ranch, a service for abused children; and participation on the Aspen Architectural Design Committee. Jeff is also a certified AYSO and CYSA soccer referee. Jeff lives in Davis with his wife Heidi.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from California State University, Sacramento and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, Graduate Studies, at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Dawn Chmielewski

Senior Vice President / Human Resources Director

Dawn is Senior Vice President and Human Resources Director of First Northern Bank. Dawn is an experienced human resources professional who has held progressively more responsible managerial positions throughout her career. Dawn has a proven record of success in developing and implementing human resources initiatives across mass media/telecommunications, manufacturing, e-commerce, and site and corporate functions. Her core competencies include leadership development and executive coaching, talent management and succession planning, change management, and innovative problem solving. She joined First Northern Bank in 2016.

Dawn reports directly to Jeremiah Z. Smith, Senior Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer, and is a member of the Senior Management Team. She chairs the Bank's Code of Ethics Committee and serves on the Bank's Incident Response, Profit Improvement, and Superior Service oversight committees.

Dawn holds a B.A. in Communications from Azusa Pacific University and is a certified trainer or facilitator in the following systems: Insights, PDI 360 Feedback, Prosci Change Management and Achieve Global Training.

Joe Danelson

EVP / Chief Credit Officer

Joe Danelson is Executive Vice President/Chief Credit Officer of First Northern Bank. Joe has served as a lending, regional management, and credit professional within the commercial banking industry since 1983. He joined First Northern Bank in 2015.

In his current position, Joe is responsible for the entire lending function of the Bank, which includes: Loan Administration, Credit Compliance, Special Assets, and Credit Services. Joe chairs the Bank's Management Loan Committee. He is also a member of the Bank's Asset Liability Committee, Community Reinvestment Act Committee and Special Assets Committee.

Joe holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Agricultural Business from Montana State University. He is an Honors graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, and a graduate of the Western Agricultural Credit School at Washington State University.

During his distinguished banking career, Joe has served on a number of Boards of Directors, including Providence Hospital Foundation, the American Red Cross, and the Chamber of Commerce.

Kimberly A. DeBra

EVP Corporate Communications, Sales & Marketing

Kimberly A. DeBra is Executive Vice President/Corporate Communications, Sales & Marketing for First Northern Bank. Kim started her banking experience in 1981 as a teller and has worked her way through several key positions throughout her career which include, product development, project management, training, system design, consumer and real estate lending, shareholder relations, marketing and advertising, and corporate communications. Kim joined First Northern Bank in 1990 as Assistant Vice President/Credit Card Services Manager.

Kim is responsible for the Bank's Corporate Giving Program and the development and management of the Holding Company/Bank's communication strategies and objectives while implementing programs aimed at strategic positioning of the Holding Company/Bank through promoting understanding and goodwill with customers, shareholders, employees, business partners, the community and the media. She also has oversight of the Bank's Corporate Communications Department, Sales function and Marketing Department. Kim is a member of the Bank's Asset/Liability Committee, Superior Service Committee, Information Services Steering Committee, and Profit Improvement Committee.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography with an emphasis in satellite remote sensing and mathematics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is also a graduate of the Bank Marketing and Management School, University of Colorado, Boulder.

Bruce A. Orris

EVP / Chief Information Officer

Bruce A. Orris is Executive Vice President/Chief Information Officer of First Northern Bank. Bruce began his career at First Northern Bank in 1983 and was responsible for the first installations of personal computers at the employee workstations. Bruce worked his way up the corporate ladder while essentially performing every job in the Data Processing and Information Technology side of the Bank, including leading the Bank through a successful transition into the Year 2000. Bruce's long list of experience includes network infrastructures, system security, Internet and Intranet management, as well as department, team and project management.

Bruce is responsible for the Bank's technology strategies, the expansion of its electronic delivery channels and its internal technology infrastructures to ensure the highest possible level of customer service. He has oversight of the Bank's Information Services Department, Central Operation Department, Branch Operations and Business Support Services. Bruce is a member of the Bank's Asset/Liability Committee and Information Services Steering Committee.

Bruce has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa and recently completed the California Bankers Association Leadership Program for banking executives.
