Louise A. Walker has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of First Northern Community Bancorp and its subsidiary, First Northern Bank, since January 1, 2011. She joined First Northern Bank in 1979 and has been a member of the Senior Management Team since 1989.
During her career, Louise has held a variety of positions, which included managing Operations and Data Processing, as well as overseeing Human Resources, Risk Management, Compliance, Accounting, and Finance. Prior to becoming CEO, Louise held the position of Senior Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for 14 years.
Louise is past Chair and a member of the Western Bankers Association (formally California Bankers Association) Board of Directors; Board member of the American Bankers Association; Chair of the Solano Economic Development Corporation; Board member of Valley Vision; and Pacific Coast Bankers’ Bancshares & PCBB Board of Directors and serves on the Board of the Roseville Community Development Corporation. She is the Chairman of the Board for the Yolo Food Bank, a member of Dixon Rotary, a past President of Soroptimist International of Dixon, and a Board member of Lambda Alpha International, Sacramento Chapter. She also served on the Board of the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization. Louise’s extensive knowledge of banking, financial management, technology, risk management, corporate governance, and marketing has been invaluable to the Boards, for both private and public organizations.
Louise holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Saint Mary’s College of California.
